Metering points for DMAs

We have successfully completed the civil works, mechanical and electrical installations for 22 flow and pressure monitoring points, as part of the "DRINKADRIA - Networking for Drinking Water Supply in the Adriatic Region" project.

As a result of previously completed projects for DMA monitoring in the cities of Ljubljana and Domžale (SI) - CMC Group was awarded this opportunity. Due to time restrictions the project was completed in only 2 months.

Interestingly, the project incorporated several flow meters which were required to be buried underground. The ABB Aquamaster3 inductive flow meters were demonstrated to be the best option for such an application. Plus the renewable energy powered Aquamaster3 transmitter provided the simplest possible integration for solar power as well as network powered locations.
